But there's a catch - there is absolutely no proof to back up the claim that such sporting events cause an increase in sex trafficking, nor even an increase in demand for consensual sex work. Crystal from SWAN Vancouver joined me to discuss the tangible negative effects these trafficking myths have on sex workers, as well as current political changes in Vancouver that are making vulnerable worker's situations more dire than ever.

Germany has been called "the brothel of Europe" due to it's thriving sex trade and relatively lax laws. But are those laws really all that lax? Anne Bonny, an activist and member of Hydra e.V. joined me to discuss the current and future realities of sex workers in Germany. We discussed the current "Prostitution Protection Act", the push to bring the Nordic Model to Germany, and the laws that sex workers in Germany want for themselves.
