The conversation explores how decades of filmmaking, podcasting, analog media preservation, and vintage electronics ultimately led Michael toward creating his first full-length music project. Blending pulsing synthesizers, vintage-inspired melodies, and cosmic mood pieces, Synth Waves From Space channels the spirit of 1950s sci-fi cinema through a modern DIY electronic music lens. Owen and Michael also discuss creativity when taking on a new art form, the crossover between film culture and music production, and why it’s never too late to begin creating in an entirely new medium.
