This week we are covering The Girl Who Was Plugged In by James Tiptree Jr.  Tiptree is a pen name for Alice B. Sheldon who wrote a number of science fiction stories in the 60's and 70's.  This one is a short but very well done story about an ugly girl who, through some fancy tech, gets to be pretty... with a few notable strings attached, or wires if you will.
