They reflect on transitioning from Pisces themes of dissolution, forgiveness, purification, and compassion - moving into Aries, cardinal fire, action, audacity, and self-directed initiative, while noting the need to balance water and fire. They also mention other astrological aspects, including multiple placements that are currently in Aries (Sun, Moon, Venus, Neptune, Saturn and Chiron), linking this to re-identification, amplification of audacity, passion, taking up space, and personal agency.

Today we have a conversation with Jonathan Robinson, a certified hypnotherapist and instructor, as well as a Reiki practitioner. He specializes in past life regression hypnotherapy and spiritual hypnotherapy because he’s seen how powerful it is when people finally access the deeper layers of the subconscious mind. In our conversation, Jonathan explains hypnosis as a guided meditation that brings the brain into a relaxed theta state, allowing the subconscious to accept positive suggestions and create change.  

He also shares how reading authors like Michael Newton and Dolores Cannon led him into regression work and emphasizes that clients don’t need to “believe” in reincarnation for sessions to be useful. In fact, some experience past lives as metaphors, others as verifiable events, but the main goal is healing and empowerment. Jonathan describes common reasons people seek sessions, including “forever feelings,” unexplained fears and phobias, shame, relationship patterns, and even birthmarks, and gives examples of clients linking present-day issues to past-life experiences (fear of drowning, fear of strangers, difficulty with love, and compulsive overeating tied to a vow to never be beautiful).   He also talks about spiritual themes, such as healers being punished in prior lifetimes, clearing the throat chakra, soul evolution through challenges, repeating “tests” until lessons are learned, and how regression can illuminate relationship dynamics and “soul contracts.”

Arjava also touches on his creative endeavors, including upcoming book projects, and the joy he finds in simple everyday activities. The conversation highlights the necessity of patience, self-discipline, and finding joy in all aspects of life.  

Frank Arjava Petter is a German author and workshop facilitator who is best known for his internationally best-selling books on the history of Reiki and its practice. Arjava’s books have been translated into twenty-two languages. He has taught Reiki to thousands of students in Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and Africa. Besides Reiki, he also practices and teaches meditation, as well as the therapeutic practice of Family Constellations.  

Arjava lives in Eressos, Lesvos Island, with his wife, Bhakti Georgia Mouriki, and two children. He and his wife run a retreat center and an organic olive farm.
