A new Resident Evil movie?! A horror dark comedy?? Resident Evil (2026) is finally here. Luis didn’t love the first teaser but as another trailer came out and he heard more commentary from director Zach Cregger he went in more optimistic. Mia was just along for the ride. But now that it’s here, what are our final thoughts? Let's just say we may have some unpopular opinions about this movie.

It’s clear to see that we are obsessed with horror movies but did Obsession (2026) live up to the hype for us? We’re late to the party this time so it’s about time we finally saw this new film everyone’s been talking about. It's another film written and directed by a Youtuber and it has us wondering how many others get excited to hear that.

Another A24 film and another film by a Youtuber so of course we had to see this one. Apparently, liminal spaces creep out Mia but not Luis, so does this movie work for both of us? We’ll get to that but first let’s catch up a little. We talk current books we’ve been reading and name which actor has a film catalogue we’d watch through in its entirety.
