- Keep an eye out for doors and walls and stairs because we are kicking off "Thanks for the Judds", a six-week programming block on Ashley Judd thrillers, with Gary Fleder's Kiss The Girls (1997).
Nominated by listener Az, each week we'll dive into a new Judd title, starting with the one that made her a bankable lead...and one that she has a very different relationship to all these years later.
Plus: two climaxes for our "Leopold and Loeb" killers; a commanding Tony "Goldwyn-ing" performance; and the evolution of Alex Cross over time.

Starring an understated Zohra Lampert and the seductive Mariclare Costello, the film is a great early example of gaslight horror.
Plus: the death of the free love movement; debate about whether Jessica is going crazy or if the threat is real; Joe's hilarious relationship with the score; and comparisons to Carmilla.

Join us as we endure this manic little movie (complimentary) and discuss its rushed production (thanks, Cannon Group!), stellar production design and battles with the MPA.
Plus, a romance for Leatherface, some A+ jump scares, toothy chili, Caroline Williams praise, and an all-timer of a final shot.
