Chris talked this up last week and I had to bring it back and see if it still hits as good as it did for me in the 90's! I loved this movie growing up, felt like Toy Story EXTREME! As an angry, nihilistic youth, it was right up my alley. I'm a little bit more calm now and a lot older, so I wonder if now I can see what all the reviewers saw back when it came out.

Nah, probably not. It's likely still hype.

Mom sent in a Patreon pick this week and I actually have never seen this one. I just always felt the pairing of Sydney Poitier and Bill Cosby would be weird and it just never caught my interest. I was just so used to Poitier being super serious and slapping racists and used to Cosby being...Well, Cosby. Time to check a film off the list though and see if I was wrong!

Yes Hustlers, there was a live action Dragon Ball film before the 2009 one! This came out in 1991 and did not have the full rights to the manga, so instead of Goku, we have "Monkey Boy!" Chris is a big anime fan, so i'm looking to him for help through this.

Been too long since we watched a Chow Yun Fat joint and this one has just been sitting in my "TBW" pile for too long. Chris and I have never seen it but i've always heard this compared to Reservoir Dogs and that was one of my favorite movies growing up, so i'm hoping this could be as good.

Not having to hear a bunch of white dudes the N-Word 20 times will help from the jump.
