  This episode, Mike and James explore two titles with a little international flair. Both of these movies need a superintendent who's not a jerk to help the cast escape the horrors of their run-down apartment buildings. One has an issue with zombies and the other is infested with spiders... "What Nooo!!" Yes, that's right, Mark Wahlberg. On this episode, we get continental and discuss the now "classic" found footage Spanish film Rec (2007), which has gone on to spawn many sequels since it came out. As well as 2024's French, creepy spider movie Infested (titled Vermine in France). Both of these films show how companionship can go terribly and amazingly wrong. We get deep into the original Childs Play (1988) where Chucky became the horror icon he is today.   On this episode, we take a class in low-budget filmmaking and discuss Saw (2004), which at the time was the directorial debut of James Wan. Who has since become one of the 4 basic food groups of horror. It was also the writing and acting debut of Leigh Whannel, who's gone on to be heavily involved in so many Wan and Blumhouse projects. After escaping the Saw trap. We discuss a movie about everyone's favorite and calming subject...religion! Of course, it's Last year's Heretic starring the always cheeky and loveable Hugh Grant in a less than loveable and cheeky role...depending on how you look at it. Let us know what you think!
