On the 60th anniversary of the Westall incident, I’m re-releasing this conversation with researcher Shane Ryan, originally recorded in December 2022.
Shane has spent years investigating one of the most remarkable mass sighting cases in UFO history: the 1966 Westall event in Melbourne, Australia, where students, teachers, and others reported seeing strange flying saucer-shaped objects over and near the school grounds.
In this interview, Shane breaks down what witnesses said they saw, the reported aftermath on the ground, the response from authorities, and why the case still stands as one of the most important and debated schoolyard UFO encounters ever reported.
