In seasons of silence, disappointment, and uncertainty, God is still speaking, remembering His people, and preparing the way for something greater. Like Hannah and Zechariah, we are invited to bring our deepest pain, questions, and longings into His presence, trusting that the very places of barrenness can become the birthplace of God’s purposes. In this message, Hayley Braun reminds us that the Lord is calling us to have our lenses cleansed, to exchange disappointment for Heaven’s hope, and to identify both the Word He has spoken over our lives and the work He is inviting us to do. In this final message of the series on Bethel’s unique distinctions, Kris Vallotton reminds us that Bethel's unique assignment is to build a healthy prophetic culture where every believer is encouraged to pursue the voice of God—to strengthen, encourage, and bring hope to others. He teaches that true prophetic ministry is not defined by dramatic words but by lives marked by humility, obedience, and intimacy with Jesus, where His grace empowers both the message and the messenger. As we allow the Lord to prune our hearts and walk in authentic community, we grow in our ability to hear His voice, partner with His purposes, and recognize that our own journey is revealing the story of His redemptive work in and through us. We pray that as you listen to this sermon that the Lord would reveal His nature and goodness to you right where you’re at.

We are called to cultivate the oil of intimacy that is fresh and current—we cannot live off of borrowed oil. In this sermon, Havilah Cunnington shares how at times in our walk with God, it’s possible to allow the hunger and faith of others to make us believe that we are sustained in our connection with God. But as with the 10 virgins found in Matthew 25, there’s oil, our connection and intimacy with God, that can only be acquired personally from establishing our own history with God. The reservoir of oil that we are called to carry comes from our history in experiencing the Lord come through in dark nights of the soul, and seeing Him intervene in moments that seemed impossible. This reservoir of oil is established in the reality of who He is and it cannot be borrowed, but requires hard work and intentionality from us. There is a sacrifice but preparation is required of us to be ready in carrying oil. We pray that as you listen in to this week's message, God would speak to your heart and highlight areas where He is inviting you to partner with Him in stewarding fresh oil in your life.

As one piece of the Body of Christ, Bethel Church has specific apostolic and prophetic distinctions that we believe the Lord has called us to carry. In this sermon, Kris Vallotton teaches on the prophetic culture that Bethel cultivates to draw out the divine destiny that God has placed in His people. Because Jesus came to fulfill an old covenant and usher in a new covenant, we now are able to live under a new covenant of prophetic ministry. This prophetic ministry empowers, encourages, and gives people vision to something greater than themselves. Just as Saul was changed into another man and prophesied when he was among the prophets, we are reminded of the significance of community and those we surround ourselves with. When he was in the community he was supposed to be with, he was changed into the man he was supposed to be. The gift of prophecy calls out things in people that are dormant in them and causes a germination of the calling that God has placed inside of them. We pray that as you listen to this message that the Lord would speak to you and release revelation and grace to walk in all that He has called you to.
