Shane had been married for less than a year when he went to sleep one night in 1986. Sometime after 2:00 AM, he says two hands suddenly grabbed his ankles.
The next thing he knew, he was traveling upward at incredible speed.
Shane says he realized he was outside his physical body and soon found himself hovering thousands of feet above his hometown. He felt no pain, fear, gravity, stress, or worry.
Then he sensed a being beside him that communicated directly to his spirit:
“You just died. Prepare to meet Jesus Christ the Lord.”
Shane could not see the being but believed it was an angel or messenger escorting him toward another realm.
Ahead of him, behind Viking Mountain, an extraordinary light appeared. As he moved toward it, Shane sensed an enormous presence emerging from the light.
He understood the presence to be Jesus and says he somehow knew Christ was holding creation together.
Then Jesus spoke to the being escorting him:
“Take him back. It’s not his time.”
Immediately, Shane found himself back in bed.
At first, he could see his hand but could not feel or move his body. Then he felt a powerful thump in his chest and what seemed like blood beginning to flow through his body again.
After 15–20 minutes, he could move. He woke his wife and told her:
“I died… Jesus sent me back.”
A doctor later discovered Shane had a heart arrhythmia. He was placed on beta blockers, and about a year later the abnormal rhythm was no longer present.
Decades later, in 2023, Shane says Jesus appeared again while he was watching another testimony on television.
The screen transformed into what looked like a fiery sun, and Shane says Jesus appeared within it.
Then he heard:
“I’m upset.”
When Shane wondered whether Jesus was upset with him, he says Jesus responded:
“No. My people don’t know what time it is.”
Then:
“You have to tell them.”

Andre grew up Catholic in Chile and Canada. Although he loved Jesus, his family also practiced tarot-card reading, dividing their trust between God and the occult.
As a teenager, he was baptized into the Mormon church to spend time with missionaries. Immediately afterward, he felt something was spiritually wrong. His nose began bleeding heavily until he asked Jesus for forgiveness.
Years later, Andre renounced tarot cards and fully committed his life to Christ. Soon after, he says he experienced intense spiritual warfare, including night terrors, sleep paralysis, scratches on his back, and overwhelming fear.
One night he cried out, “Why do You abandon me?”
He says Jesus answered:
“I don’t abandon you. You abandon Me. I’m not a light switch.”
Jesus then showed Andre many moments when He had protected him throughout his life.
Andre’s cousin Miguel, who was like a brother to him, once declared:
“God has no place in my home.”
Before Andre could reconcile with him after an argument, Miguel was shot and killed.
Years later, while struggling with lingering unforgiveness, Andre says he was suddenly pulled downward into hell.
There he saw fire, darkness, and Miguel restrained against a massive rock between two demons.
Miguel pleaded:
“Andre, get me out of here!”
Every time Andre spoke about God or prayer, those words became inaudible to Miguel.
Then Andre heard:
“I had no place in his home. Now he has no place in My home.”
The demons dragged Miguel away into the darkness.
Andre says the encounter removed the unforgiveness from his heart. He later traveled to Chile to forgive the father who had abandoned him.

In this powerful interview, Laurie Ditto shares the terrifying hell experience that she says transformed her understanding of forgiveness, repentance, obedience, and salvation.
Laurie believed she was on her way to heaven. She spent hours every week praying, fasted regularly, preached the gospel, served the poor, and faithfully led people to Christ.
But she refused to forgive those who had deeply wounded her.
She says that during worship on August 28, 2008, unbearable heat filled the room. The gates of hell appeared, and a hand reached through, grabbed her, and dragged her into a prison where she heard:
“You are in hell eternally for unforgiveness.”
Although only moments passed on Earth, Laurie says the experience felt like 70 years.
She describes black fire, unbearable heat, constant screaming, complete isolation, dehydration, and hopelessness. At one point she realized the woman screaming was herself.
Laurie also says she saw a section of hell filled with people who believed they were Christians but had refused to genuinely repent and obey Christ. She was confronted with her own sins and shown Jesus’ warning in Matthew 18 about the servant who refused to forgive.
When she returned, Laurie says she couldn’t recognize her husband, children, or even remember her own name. She struggled mentally and physically for months afterward.
Today she teaches that forgiveness does not mean excusing abuse or restoring unhealthy relationships. It means releasing the debt to God so bitterness no longer controls your life.
Her warning is simple:
The most dangerous sin may be the one you refuse to repent of.
