Hear the remarkable story of how his business empire began, his unusual business ethos, why he branched out into books, how Andrew Collins almost destroyed everything, why he wants to produce books that look good as well as read good, how he chooses what to publish and why doing something you love is (luckily) more important than making money. What a nice man he is. Should have been our easiest show to record, but had more technical screw ups than I can remember having in one of these. But our incompetence is our charm

#433 - Piggy in the Middle - Richard is at the Leicester Comedy Festival and has still not forgiven the city for the king theft or the cheese rivalry, but he gives out his phone number for anyone who wants to call him in 1973. His guest is making his fourth appearance on the podcast, though still not had a whiff of the Leicester Square Theatre, it’s the multi award winning John Kearns. There’s a Top Coppers update and some amazing new news of how he got the part, plus they discuss the changes wrought by Covid, creating new quiz formats, the magic of Taskmaster, an exciting new twist on emergency questions and wild speculation about the earnings of other comedians.

Monday 23rd March 2026 - Finger Hair - Rich and Ally are back to discuss Donald Trump RTing a SNLUK sketch and get an exclusive interview with the real PM to find out if SNLUK is as funny as it used to be.

Tuesday 24th March 2026 - Deuteronomy 22:23-24 Rich and Ally are back in Da House and today they are reporting on the most controversial thing that has ever happened regarding the BBC show “The Repair Shop” in which they almost repaired an old joke book with some old jokes in it, that they didn’t need to read out, but which still mustn’t be on TV even in closed book form. Newsround is the most unsexist show on TV or the internet, as long as that is what people still are against, and so only we can report on this without prejudice. Take note Lamestream media and celestial bodies that are trying to blind and silence us.

Thursday 26th March 2026 - Very Old Dog - Rich and Ally are back to tell you all the main news to ever come out of Cheddar in Somerset. So it’s quite a short bulletin.

Friday 27th March 2026- Roboteacher - Rich and Ally are back for the last newsround of the week and judging by this one it’s probably good they’re taking a bit of time to take stock and get their heads together and sort out Richard’s health issues. Two news stories covered today which you won’t see in the lame stream media - zip lining benefit cheats and Melania’s army of info-robots. Watch Bake Off at 7.40pm on Channel 4 on Sunday just to see how good Rich can be on lame stream TV.

RHLSTP #604 - Elephant Trunk - It’s another studio RHLSTP with Richard’s occasional collaborator Bilal Zafar. They talk about the amazing viral Instagram clip of one of their sketches, why Bilal wanted Ally Sloper to play his dad, whether we should be surprised by life, but not death, meeting Labour politicians on the tube, how can Bilal get on the telly, his return to Edinburgh and Rich’s plan to never leave his venue, some new emergency questions and a nice chill vibe as the boys use up their full hour as best they can.
